Here’s a TL;DR of today’s updates:

1. We launched an Ad Network to help event hosts monetize their events and brands grow their local presence!

2. Events can now have QR-code tickets, and hosts can use our new scanner to check in attendees.

3. Wellness is a new industry you can add to your profile. And we have our first wellness event coming up!

4. When you visit someone’s profile page, you can see which events you have in common with them.

5. Several really cool events are coming up!

I am working with brands who want to expand their reach in San Diego by placing ads on the digital footprint of events, such as the event page, digital ticket, and emails.

Ads are a subtle way to help hosts get sponsors for their events without having to become salespeople. This way, they can focus on what they do best and host amazing events!

After registering for an event, you’ll see a link to access your ticket (it will be sent to you via email, too).

For hosts, you’ll can access a scanner to check your attendees at your event.

We’re excited to host our first wellness event on the platform! I met with Kellie (host) earlier this week, she is a rockstar San Diegan in the event organizing space. Her next event is coming up on November 3rd, check it out.
